Acupuncture is a Chinese medical treatment that has been existed for thousands years. It is currently widespread in USA, France, Japan and other countries. World Health Organization (WHO) was very interested in this treatment. As a result, it organized the conference for the experts from throughout the world in 1979 in Beijing and drafted “43 symptoms or diseases that acupuncture is considered an alternative treatment”.
In Thailand, people are interested in acupuncture treatment increasingly.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is to insert the small needle through the body according to traditional Chinese medical treatment. The needle used has the smaller diameter than injection needle. Thus, the patient will not hurt too much. Moreover, the sterilize needle will never be reused so the patient is saved from infection.
How acupuncture cure disease?
The research found that acupuncture activates the secretion of more than 35 types of biochemical in the body depending on the acupuncture position. As a result, it helps to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, activate circulatory system, adjust fat and other chemical substances level in the body, as well as reinforce the immunity.

Duration for acupuncture
It takes about 30 minutes, 1-3 times a week. Acupuncture should be applied constantly depending on the disease and doctor’s consideration.
